I started Your Sunday Guide because I wanted to stay connected to something I loved – traveling and exploring new destinations and cuisines. I have already visited a few places in Europe and the Mediterranean, but there are countless other places I want to see and things to try. This travel blog is where I will share everything about them with YOU! (okay, not everything, but the polite, good-to-know stuff).
The Dream is to make this blog the top choice for active travelers searching for new destinations around the Mediterranean and the lazy ones staying at home and exploring the world through the Internet. So, if you are a real explorer, I hope this site will be the right place for you, providing helpful information about your next trip to the Mediterranean.

Why follow Me
I will give the best of me to provide helpful information about different destinations in Europe, primarily the Mediterranean and Bulgaria (as this is my homeland), exciting facts about famous places and hidden gems, “tasty” stories about local cuisines, and plenty of random thoughts and honest opinions about my voyages. This section will be updated every time I find something new worth spreading (or when I find mistakes).

Meet Your Sunday Guide
Lucy – yes, that’s me, the travel enthusiast behind this blog. I started the blog during the pandemic in 2020 when traveling was a challenging endeavor. I like traveling, taking photos, and sharing my travel experiences with others. The rest of the time, I work as an Accountant in an international company. I am Aquarius. I love lazy snowy days with hot chocolate in front of the fireplace with my family. But also sunny days with friends on the beach. I lived in Germany, Mallorca, and Malta, now settled in Bulgaria again, ready to share my trips and tips with you.
*And just a small note – I am from Bulgaria (a beautiful country in Southeastern Europe by the Black Sea). I am very sorry to inform you that English is not my native/first/C2 language… so please excuse my mistakes! (You can write me for corrections too! I will be very thankful 🙏)
Guest blogger – Vlad
Once upon a time…a long time ago (in 2014), I met Vlad at my job. We became friends, maybe only because we are the same crazy zodiac sign on the same birth date – Aquarius. Otherwise, we are so totally different, and we always have opposite opinions. He desperately tries to be funny and serious at the same time… but yeah… 😀 I tricked him for being here with a promise for chocolate and cakes (yeees, he fancies only chocolate cakes – don’t try to offer him other desserts). Some of the excursions are realized in his polite company.
