Meet Your Sunday Guide
I’m Lucy, the travel enthusiast behind Your Sunday Guide.
I started this blog to stay connected to my love for traveling and exploring new destinations and cuisines. I’ve visited a few places in Europe, but there are countless more to see and experiences to try. I travel slowly, eat where locals eat, and help you do the same.
Living in different European cities taught me that food isn’t just something you try on a trip.
It’s a doorway. A doorway into real culture, everyday life, connection, history, belonging.
I’m happiest when I’m wandering through a local market, reading menus in a new language, or sitting somewhere cozy with a plate of something traditional in front of me. Not expensive. Not fancy. Just delicious, honest, and full of character.
I created Your Sunday Guide because I wanted to share that approach with travelers like you — people who want more than sightseeing…
they want culture through food.

Once upon a time, in 2014, I met Vlad at work. We became friends, maybe because we share the same zodiac sign and birthday – Aquarius. Otherwise, we’re pretty different and often have opposite opinions. He tries to be funny and serious at the same time… but yeah… 😀 Some excursions are realized in his polite company.
*And just a small note – I am from Bulgaria, a country in Southeastern Europe by the Black Sea. English is not my native language, so please excuse any mistakes! (Feel free to write to me for corrections – I’d be very grateful 🙏).
